I could get use to this...

We spent last weekend in San Diego with my ENTIRE family. It isn't often we can get everyone together but I gotta tell you, it was a happy time! We did Sea World on Friday and spent the rest of the weekend walking around enjoying the GORGEOUS weather and being together.

Abbie was NAUGHTY every night I think because she knew it wasn't her own bed. However, she was SO SO SO good during the days. We were at Sea World for 8 hours and she sat in her stroller pretty much the entire time and barely made a peep. She is a people watcher and was happy just being pushed around and not having socks on her feet.


It was Caden's birthday on Sunday and he was so thrilled to be spending it with his cousins. My mom and sisters spoiled him with presents and attention and he kept telling everyone, "I am done with three, I am four!"

This is truly how our family relaxes. It is a very common scene to have a handful of people on my mom and dad's bed either sleeping or just hanging out. Even the ones that have married in have gotten use to this and many times I will find Scott and my dad laying on the bed watching sports or talking...I love it!


My mom and dad are so wonderful and we are grateful to them for giving us the chance to leave our cold, boring lives behind in Utah for a few days and enjoy a much warmer scene. We walked A LOT along the fun marinas with the cool breeze and I kept catching myself thinking, "I could definitely get use to a place like this!"
