For the apple of your eye...

Today was Kathey's (mother in law's) birthday and she didn't want any presents. Of course I couldn't show up to her house empty handed, so we brought along these delicious treats...

I got this recipe from Twig and Thistle back in February and have been wanting to make them ever since. Of course I ditched the cutesy box, because that would just be plain weird for me to call her the apple of my eye, but she is an excellent mother in law.

I added caramel inside and cinnamon/sugar on top of my apple ones. I also made some cherry ones too! I also drizzled both kinds in a yummy glaze because I love sweet things. Serve warm with a little vanilla ice cream and ENJOY!

Really easy and super tasty!

Thanks for all the fun recipes. These look so good. I have been wanting some appley stuff. And I loved the chicken roll ups and Cinnamon muffins from awhile back.

yummy! I have always be a tiny bit jealous of those who know how to bake since everything I make some how turns out wrong. ha ha o-well:)

You did ask about my Sweet Peddles and if you think they would look good on someone with short dark hair and..... I THINK THEY TOTALLY WOULD:)and if you are talking about yourself, you could put anything in your hair and make it look stunning. I saw your ballerina outfit with the pink flower in your hair and you looked so dang cute and that is including the whole ensemble:)! If you have any more questions let me know
Thanks!
P.s. Scott is a such a good guy and its nice to know that Chris has such a great guy to work with:) We enjoy having him keep us company:) Although, I have been at my parents house for the last two days so I'm sure Scott wants pierce and I back home so that Chris can hang out with someone other than himself since he's around him 24/7:)
