In attempt to tell Caden a secret, I pulled him into my lap. He must have thought he was in trouble, because his automatic reaction was to throw his weight around to get out of my grip. I got headbutted with the back of his head and ended up with a huge knot on my eye bone and quite a bit of swelling. This morning I woke up to the same amount of swelling and some pretty shades of purple and blue too. Lucky me!
Have you ever noticed how hard it is not to smile when taking a picture? It is, trust me. No, I am not happy to have this black eye despite the smile on my face. I just wasn't sure what face to make. Plus Caden is in the background chanting at me to be silly! These pics are awkward, I know. Just jumped out of the shower with no makeup and my hair is starting to fro...don't judge!

Chris and I alway wonder which one of us will end up with a broken nose ffrom the kids first . . . it is amazing the amount of force they can throw with their little bodies.
You will heal quickly! Ouch!
NICE! Ezra once threw a sippy cup at my face and it hit my nose and it gave me a nice bump along with a bruise. Oh the joys :)
Tara! haha. Caden is such a little punk. I like the new look. At least it could look like eyeshadow.
You make that black eye look good!!
ya right! I dont believe my little sweet Caden could do something like that! You did a great job with the eyeshadow tho...looks legit!
PS: thats going to be a great story for him to tell later on in life!
Tara.... now come on......we know you are so proud of that SHINER!!!!! Looks good on you!!
Seriously tho, I HATE head butts!!! They hurt like a mother load! So sorry! But you still looks so cute!
Just think how much time you will save only having to put eye shadow on 1 eye!! :)
