Christmas in Vegas

One of the nice things about being students is the long break we get for Christmas. The first ten days we stayed in Vegas and were able to play with both sides of our family. We did lots of projects trying to get everything ready for Christmas morning and the kids enjoyed every bit of that experience. Caden was thrilled to get a bow and arrow, knight and armor setup, some pretty powerful Nerf guns and a bike. Abbie was in heaven with a little piano and microphone (which she uses to belt out her songs), dolls and stroller.

Pike and Lindsey (Scott's sister and her husband) flew in from Hawaii and it was great spending time with them since we haven't seen them in a whole year. Then the Maxfield's all headed to Utah to get ready for a week of fun with all of the kids. Danny and Liz were able to join us right away but we are still waiting on Mitch and Kristin to come. They were expecting to have their baby boy last week but the little guy is quite stubborn and finally made his big debut this morning. They are actually moving to the cabin with us, so as soon as they are discharged from the hospital on Thursday they will get in their car and drive to Utah from Idaho. We are so excited for them to join us and can't wait to meet the newest addition to the family.

Lots of exciting stuff happening around here. Here's just a few photos from our time in Vegas. More to come...

My sister Erica had them made by her husband's cousin, I think. Do you follow her blog? I bet she could give you the information on them.
