I've said this before, but one of the things I love most about being here in the mountains is that life just seems to slow down. We didn't leave the house too often during the week and were content laying around in our pajamas, playing in the snow, eating big meals together, playing games and sitting around reminiscing about old times. Scott and I tease about only being able to handle two kids, sometimes we are a bit serious, but I am so grateful for our BIG families and every person in them and all of the craziness that comes when we are all together. I'm grateful for our moms and dads who were selfless and wanted lots of kids. It may have been tough raising them, but it's so fun now.
Scott's at the airport dropping some family off, and the rest of them are on their way back to Vegas. I'm sad. The good news is that Mitch, Kristin and baby Dietrich have made their new home here at the cabin with us and I am thrilled to have them. PLUS, my baby sister just moved to Park City with her husband (which is a short 15 minute drive) so I feel lucky to have family still close by.
I wasn't great about taking photos this Christmas season. I need to get better. Here's a few...
Yes, that is my husband playing in the snow in shorts.
Last week a surfboard, this week a snowboard...
