When she was about eight months old, one day her belly button just sort of popped out because of a hernia and it has stuck around ever since. To be honest, even though I tease about it, I've kind of grown fond of it. I think she is perfect, belly button and all. In fact, Abbie gets a kick out of the squishy sound it makes when you push in on it. She does it to make me laugh, and I always do. But it's time for it to go. The surgeon says it is especially important for little girls to get them taken care of sooner than later so they don't start to get gender confusion. We definitely wouldn't want that!
Bye, bye funny little belly button.
This photo is from her first birthday. Somebody gave me this bikini and I thought she would look so cute in it at her water birthday party. Her daddy put his foot down, maybe because of the modesty issue, but I'm sure mostly because of her belly button.

Jenna has one of those hernias. Good luck Abbie! Let us know how it goes, Tara.
Everything will be good. Katrina's little guy has a hernia in his belly button that sticks out like an inch and a half. He's going to think he has two pee-pees!!
That is a big hernia! I had a hernia fixed earlier this year. I was a total wimp and stayed in bed for 10 days!
