- Abbie splitting her face open, getting stitches, taking stitches out and lathering her face 24/7 to help with scarring
- Caden falling off his bike and cutting his face in TWO spots (no stitches, just big red scabs)
- both kids breaking out in some sort of rash all over their bodies and FACES
- adult acne that left me with one very large pimple that wouldn't leave, so naturally I picked at it and now have a nasty, red mark on my face that no amount of coverup can conceal.
I really hope our photographer isn't one of those that doesn't believe in Photoshop. We need the help, desperately.
However, aside from all my vain worries, I am very grateful for...
- a little brother that is worthy and ready to serve the Lord and the people in El Salvador
- a family who will love us despite the many marks on our faces
- a son who has FINALLY learned to ride his bike despite his cautious personality and MANY wrecks this week
- warmer weather that is allowing us to play outside after months of hibernating
- and Private Selection's Amaretto Cherry Cordial ice cream. Yum.
