The house is clean, laundry is almost caught up, kids have been played with, read to and bathed and I still have plenty of time tonight to finish a few other projects on my to do list. My house is quiet, which doesn't happen all that often, so I am taking advantage of it and spending a few minutes on my neglected blog.
We spent last week at Lake Powell with my family. I love the lake. There is nothing better than not getting dressed all week, eating, soaking up LOTS of sun, eating, no makeup, eating, family games, eating and all sorts of water activities.
We all came home a little chubbier but with some much needed color on our faces.
Here's proof I attempted surfing after a four year absence. Don't mind the ridiculous tan line.
Yes, I fell quite a few times and yes, I still plug my nose when I fall.

Abbie was there too. She just never sat still long enough for me to snap any photos of her. She loves the water (even if it was below 70 degrees) and she really loved boat rides and helping daddy drive.
Gotta run, literally. Still trying to work off those extra pounds!

Looks like a blast. So missing you guys! Ty keeps asking when we get to go home and play with Caden and Abbie; it makes me want to cry. Hope all is well.
