All three of my sisters came to Utah for a girls weekend and it has been so fun! The real purpose was to help Ashlee find some new furniture for her playroom and office and she hit the jackpot at IKEA! I hadn't been there in years even though one opened up here not too long ago. I forgot how fun and inexpensive that place is. However, my new found love for this place is because of how family friendly they are. Here are some examples...
- huge, family restrooms
- free strollers upon request
- strollers and all carts are sanitized
- free diapers and wipes in the bathrooms in case you run out
- Gerber baby food served in the food court with a microwave to heat it up and complimentary bibs & utensils
- kids's meals are only $2.39
- kid's play stations strategically placed throughout the store so your little ones can stop and get their wiggles out every so often
and my #1 reason...
- free day care in a really fun playroom so mothers can shop without worrying about their kids!
It's a good thing I don't have a house of my own right now. I could have done a lot of damage to our bank account with all of the fun organizational ideas, but I wasn't even tempted...at least not this time.
Abbie was so grateful her aunts were in town. She got held constantly and fed lots of treats!

My purchases from IKEA (toilet brush, dustpan and straws)...a whooping $3.11 worth.

I have only been once, to one in California. It was really fun though.
How fun to go with all your sisters.
Amen!
Seriously!!! What an awesome place!!!!!
Presley loves Ikea and asks me all the time if we can go . . . most of the time I cave in because of all the reasons you listed!
Let me know if you still want to take the kids to Kangaroo Zoo--we can pick a rainy day and head down.
