MORE COOKING
and
MORE BLOGGING ON RECIPE BLOG
The holidays have totally messed me up. I was getting really good and consistently making nice, some new, home cooked meals. But after being out of town and then back in town with a
mother-in-law who cooks WAY better than I do, I gave up for a few weeks.
Lucky for me, my sister-in-law who just moved in with us is also a good cook. Mind you her baby is a WEEK old and she is up and about making homemade chicken noodle soup. YUM! I started surfing through her recipe books and got an itch to start cooking again. We had just watched "Julie and Julia" the night before and I teased I was going to cook my way through her cookbook and blog about it. I was teasing, kind of.
Here's to more time in the kitchen and a whole lot of new recipes in 2010...

I had NO idea you had a recipe blog!! How long have you had this?! I'm excited!!
I just read this and thought...crap, I haven't decided what to make for dinner!!! 10 days away has not helped me with my cooking habits either.
I am off to watch Julie and Julia once the girls are in bed. I wish I was able to cook--I just decided that with the new Store and all their great pre-made things I am not going to cook this year. Less mess, more time, and pretty good food.
I bet we get bored of it fast--but the chicken stuffed with proscuito and ghouda was pretty tasty :)
Wow, yummy. Will you plan your dinners and then send them to me so I don't have to think?
