"Hectic and Happy" is truly how I feel lately. We're in Vegas for two weeks. A little longer than we usually stay but there are so many things going on we needed the time here with our families and friends.
I came home to two nephews and a niece I had never met before. Both of Ashlee's babies (Charlie and Haden) are finally home from the hospital and Lindsey and Ruby came all the way from Hawaii. I love snuggling babies and am getting plenty of it and NO, I am not baby hungry for another one. I have my hands full with Caden and lil' miss Abbie.
Abbie decided now was a good time to learn to crawl out of her crib, open doors and escape outside, throw some major temper tantrums, insist she is independent and can do everything on her own and did I mention she screams in a REALLY high pitch voice because she thinks it is funny? She is definitely more active than Caden ever was, but for all the naughty times she makes up for it with her love of cuddling and telling me she loves me. Plus she is already going #2 on the toilet which makes me really love her. My two little munchkins are enough for me, at least for now.
We were able to go to the temple last night with Scott's little brother and it was great having the parents and all of the siblings and their spouses there together (except for Pike, we missed you). I kept looking over at Scott and feeling so lucky that he's mine. He winked at me and after seven years of marriage, I'm still swooning.
Then I came home and checked on my sleeping babies...my life is good. Not perfect, not all planned out and definitely not easy, but very very good.
We've got a birthday party, Mother's Day, a wedding, volleyball games, siblings visiting from all over the place and a little work mixed in there to enjoy this week. Lots of family, lots of running around and lots of fun.

Have fun! Sounds like you are busy but stopping to notice the blessings!
We miss you here--but it sounds like the family time and closeness is needed (and fun too, who doesn't love snuggling a new baby?).
